Sumilon Bluewater Island Resort:

Sumilon Blue water Resort is a sister company of  Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort located in Lapu-Lapu City. Sumilon is an island located in Bancogon Oslob, Cebu. A 4-hour drive from Cebu City South Bus terminal and a place where you want to be if you want to meditate and relax.

Sumilon has a several white sand beaches with a wide shore line, open cottages, lagoon, trekking area, infinity pool and a fine dining restaurant. Watch tower (baluerte) can also be seen on the upper part of the island and an old light house. They also have a fish sanctuary. Once you arrive to Bancogon port, a glass of lemon grass tea will be served to you while waiting for the boat bound to Sumilon island.  A map will be provided once you’ll get to the island.

How to Get there:

Sumilon island can be reached through bus, a 3-4-hour ride if you came all the way from Cebu City or you can take your own private vehicles since there will be parking spaces on the port. Upon reaching Boncogon port, you will take approximately 10 minutes mini boat ride (depending on weather conditions) to the island. Boat ride will be provided by the resort itself and that’s very convenient.
